I love OverDrive, but I sure didn't know the app has been upgraded to listen to the books faster. I wonder if the Android app hasn't gotten the upgrade yet. I also rarely browse the books on my phone. Instead I browse on my computer, make lists of stuff I want to read later, put books on hold, etc. There are multiple ways of getting your books to your Android device. This is one option that I’ve tested: Go to the Google Play Store and download an eBook app such as Google Play Books. Open Play Books, tap your avatar in the search field and go to Play Book Settings and Enable PDF uploading. From there you can view your library or begin reading the eBook.
